UCL-RES and DTP scholarships are open to applicants from any country, whereas CSC scholarship is open only to citizens of China and UCL-ROS only to UK-permanent resident from certain BAME ethnic group (see UCL ROS page) .
Prospective candidates are invited to contact Dr Lombardo (contact@lombardo-lab.com) before applying, including a supporting statement (detailing research interest and suitability for the group), a full CV and a copy of transcripts to date.
Please note that some applications will require reference letters from both current university and prospective UCL supervisor as part of the application process, therefore interested candidates are strongly advised to get in touch with Dr Lombardo as soon as possible.
Candidates are expected to have a first-class honours undergraduate degree and/or a postgraduate masters qualification in electronic engineering, physics, biomedical engineering, nanotechnology, computer science or closely related disciplines.
Candidates are also encouraged to explore funding opportunities provided by the UCL Centres for Doctoral Training (CDTs).
